Accounting and Finance Assistant - Advanced English

A company dedicated to the management and supply of organic and fair trade ingredients is looking to integrate a Finance Clerk / Accounting Assistant into its team, who will provide support in the company's financial and accounting operations.

Work area: Col. Ladrón de Guevara, Guadalajara, Jal. Salary: $16,000 to $17,500 gross monthly Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Direct hiring Biweekly payment

What activities will you perform?

• Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and following up on differences between banks and accounting records.
• Record, review, and process supplier invoices.
• Validate invoices against purchase orders and follow up on discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes (AP & AR).
• Perform reconciliations and internal controls of inventories.
• Identify differences between physical inventories/warehouses and system records.
• Support the review of customer credit limits.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers.
• Maintain communication and follow-up with suppliers, customers, banks, external auditors, and internal areas.
• Support the resolution of financial discrepancies and keep accounting records up to date.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and ease in learning new systems.
• Organizational capacity and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proactive, organized, adaptable profile with ease of learning.
• Advanced English
