Sales Assistant, Saloteam Oy

Saloteam Oy is a company specializing in machining, production-enhancing auxiliary equipment, and contract manufacturing, producing solutions for more efficient production for companies. We manufacture both small series and offer comprehensive solutions. The company's turnover is approximately 4 million and the number of personnel is slightly over 30. Saloteam was founded in 1991 and we serve domestic and international high-tech customers with solid experience.

Now we are looking for a sales assistant to join our pleasant team

JOB DESCRIPTION

• processing incoming customer orders, e.g., in our ERP tools, and delivering order confirmations to customers
• processing requests for quotations together with salespeople
• creating product items in the ERP tool (e.g., material and work step specifications)
• management of product documentation

WE EXPECT

• good IT skills and the ability to learn and use, e.g., Microsoft Office tools
• experience with some ERP tool (Lean System is in use)
• thoroughness and, in some parts, attention to detail (e.g., creating items)
• initiative and diligence
• a systematic and quality-oriented work attitude
• reasonable stress tolerance
• at least moderate English language skills
• a customer service mindset and the ability for both written and oral customer communication

WE WISH FOR

• previous experience in a sales assistant role within the manufacturing industry
• readiness for flexibility, for example, during peak periods and as a substitute for colleagues
• the ability to read and understand technical component drawings and other product documentation is considered an advantage
