Field Service Engineer

What will you do?

We believe it is important that you are well-prepared when traveling, and therefore we ensure that everything is arranged for you from A to Z: from the transfer and your flight ticket to the hotel and any rental car. We know various disciplines in our field service: Installation, Commissioning, Service and Maintenance. Different branches of sport with their own expertise, we would love to tell you more about them!

Our Field Service Engineers are all craftsmen through and through. We are an international team and work with different nationalities to meet our customers' needs. A fun and dynamic team, in which everyone loves hard work. Besides that hard work, there is time for relaxation and fun: the atmosphere is good! We know our machines and associated parts inside and out. Moreover, we are the face of Voortman!

As a team, we are not often complete, but once a year, during the Field Engineer Day, we come together with the entire team. This is always on the last working day of the year. On this day, we have breakfast together, attend presentations, and in the afternoon there is time for a fun activity. But even during work, we know how to find each other and we call each other when we encounter problems, so we learn from one another!

• Within Field Service, you ensure that the machines at the customer function optimally. This can involve new machines (Installation & Commissioning) or machines that have been in use by the customer for some time (Service & Maintenance);
• With your technical knowledge, you ensure that the machines run and do what the customer expects;
• You ensure clear communication regarding the status of your activities to your colleagues and the customer;
• You think along with the customer and look at how we can improve the process even further;
• You always strive for the best possible result.

We request

• Mbo working and thinking level and relevant work experience in the direction of Werktuigbouwkunde, Mechatronica, Elektrotechniek or similar;
• An adventurer who loves to see the world and wants to be away from home for longer periods. For Installation & Commissioning, this involves two to three consecutive weeks; within Service & Maintenance, you are away during the week and mostly at home on weekends;
• You have a passion for technology and enjoy being involved in both mechanical and electrical tasks;
• You are disciplined, customer-oriented, and can oversee and assess different situations well;
• Due to the international character, speaking English is a must.
