Business Development Representative (working student)

What will you do?

As a Business Development Representative, you will support our international Business Development activities. You will focus on identifying and approaching potential customers in Scandinavia, the Baltic states, the United Kingdom, and other markets where English is the business language. Using a structured way of working, you will work with modern sales tools and a clear process to map out new market opportunities.

You will have a lot of contact with international companies and will be an important link between potential customers and our sales organization. In this part-time job, you will develop skills in the areas of business development, international communication, lead generation, and commercial conversations. You will work closely with the Business Development team and receive guidance to further develop yourself within outbound sales.

Your activities include, among others:

• Identifying potential customers within assigned markets;
• Approaching companies by telephone and via email;
• Conducting initial introductory conversations and qualifying leads;
• Recording and managing customer information in the CRM system;
• Identifying market developments and commercial opportunities;
• Collaborating with Sales and Business Development to realize follow-up on opportunities.

What we ask

• You are a student in a research university (wo) program;
• You are available at least 1 day per week;
• You speak and write excellent English and have command of the German language;
• You feel comfortable with telephone contact with international companies;
• You are a strong communicator, independent, and proactive;
• You have an interest in sales, business development, or international trade;
• Experience with commercial activities is a plus.
