Solution Expert in integrations for machine sales

Location: Eskilstuna

We are looking for a solution expert who wants to work at the interface between business and IT. The role is part of the APIs & Integration Frameworks team within Volvo CE Digital, which is responsible for integrations with customers, dealers, and partners. We also develop a portfolio of commercial APIs, which is an important part of Volvo CE's future service offering.

About the role

• Help dealers worldwide to integrate with Volvo CE as a specialist in our integration services for machine sales.
• Contribute throughout the entire lifecycle of integration services - from design, development, and testing to launch and version management.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and further develop roadmaps.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support the support team with troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Your background and competence

You have experience in

• global sales of construction machinery or other heavy vehicles through dealer networks. You are also willing to learn our business processes as well as our integration and information architecture.
• working in an SAP S/4HANA Sales environment (formerly SD - Sales and Distribution) as a business user or in an IT role.
• designing and supporting integrations on the platforms IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM API Connect (APIC).
• IT testing, including integration testing and defect management.
• working with the industry standard STAR (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail).
• collaborating with architects and system owners to build secure, synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
• You have good problem-solving skills and communicate clearly, with English as your primary language. Knowledge of additional languages is a merit.
• You have a background in IT, are flexible and are passionate about driving and implementing digitalization initiatives through integration.
• You collaborate well with others and can simultaneously plan and drive your work independently.
• You thrive in cross-functional work in long-term projects that encompass different business processes and geographical areas.
