Partnership Lead
About the company
Volt14 Solutions develops next-generation silicon anode technology for lithium-ion batteries, offering scalable, drop-in solutions that bring cutting-edge performance to mass-market applications. The company is a team of 12–15, engineering-led and scaling rapidly — execution speed and individual ownership are defining characteristics of the working environment. Volt14 is hiring a Partnership Lead (Singapore) to own commercial partnerships, investor relations and fundraising execution alongside the management team. The role carries the business development strategy, runs the full fundraising process from first contact through transaction close, and builds the company’s relationships with suppliers, vendors, end users and government agencies. The role requires someone who is self-directed, comfortable operating with minimal supervision, and motivated by the opportunities of an early-stage deep-tech company. Candidates should demonstrate strong initiative, thoughtful problem-solving, and the ability to iterate quickly as priorities evolve. Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks
- Business Development Strategy: Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy with the management team. Build and run the commercial pipeline, lead outreach to prospective customers and partners, and refine targeting based on immediate priorities and market feedback.
- Investor Relations: Own investor communications, including regular investor updates, the setup and maintenance of the company data room, and the preparation of investor materials such as information memoranda and presentation decks.
- Fundraising & Transactions: Run the fundraising process end to end: investor mapping and outreach, stakeholder coordination, due diligence management, and execution of term sheets and transaction documentation through close. Support the execution of strategic transactions, including partnerships and joint development agreements, as they arise.
- Government Grants & Agencies: Identify, prepare and submit government grant applications, manage filings and reporting on government portals, and maintain working relationships with relevant government and institutional partners.
- Supplier, Vendor & End-User Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and end users. Serve as the primary commercial point of contact, translating stakeholder requirements into clear deliverables for the engineering team.
- Customer Procurement & Qualification: Manage customer procurement processes to advance Volt14’s qualification as a supplier, including supplier registration, RFI and RFQ responses, tender documentation and commercial terms. Coordinate customer qualification projects with the engineering team, tracking timelines, deliverables and documentation through to approval.
- Management Support: Support the management team on a daily and ad hoc basis, including meeting setup and follow-through on action items, prioritization of critical tasks, and support on special projects as they arise.
- Documentation & Analysis: Prepare commercial analysis, business cases and board and investor documentation. Maintain and organize all commercial, investor and compliance documents securely.
