IT Business Specialist (Resende/RJ and São Paulo/SP)

Responsibilities and assignments

Main responsibilities:

• Act between business areas and the technology team, translating business needs into clear and functional technical requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders from business areas to identify and understand their needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze and document current business processes ("AS-IS") and propose optimized future processes ("TO-BE").
• Perform the elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation of business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare project scope documentation, including the Scope Statement and the Product Backlog.
• Create business analysis artifacts, such as:
• Use Cases: Detailed description of interactions between users and the system.
• User Stories: Short and simple descriptions of a functionality from the user's perspective.
• Acceptance Criteria: Conditions that a functionality must meet to be accepted by the client/user.
• Flowcharts and Process Diagrams (BPMN): Visual modeling of workflows and business processes.
• Low and medium fidelity prototypes (Wireframes/Mockups): Visual sketches of the system interface for validation with business areas.
• Act as the focal point for clarifying doubts regarding business rules with the development and quality (QA) teams.
• Present and validate requirements and proposed solutions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and approval.
• Support the quality area in preparing test plans, ensuring that acceptance criteria are addressed.
• Conduct and/or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements:

• Completed higher education degree in Technology or related fields.
• Experience in IT projects in the automotive industry, preferably within the Volkswagen Group.
• Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) concepts, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and ERP SAP.
• Knowledge of ITIL, IT Governance, and Information Security.
• Advanced English.

Desirable:

• Technical English.
