Sr. III Parts Quality Analyst

Responsibilities and assignments

Technically evaluate non-conformities of zero-km vehicle parts caused by suppliers and handle non-conformity treatments via CLAIM. Represent parts quality to the Field team in meetings related to impacts on the end customer due to quality failures of purchased parts, with the objective of presenting non-conformity treatments, root cause, short and long-term actions, as well as definitive action and cut-off point. Technically represent QA Peças regarding treatments in certification audits (IATF/ISO/etc.). Subject to annual revalidation through external audits. Prepare, interpret technical documentation and issue technical reports and presentations of mechanical, electrical/electronic, chemical, and Hardware/Software components using corporate systems such as KVS, AVON, LIMS, BeON KPM, SAP. Monitor the technical quality performance of all involved suppliers and PDI’s (Brazil and Argentina) through an integrated system that provides data for decision-making and their classification through metrics and objectives which, in turn, generate strategic KPI’s presented in the Board Meeting. Manage actions of higher technical complexity arising from Final Audit evaluations for root cause determination through CLAIM’s. Evaluate/monitor and respond to part failure complaints from plants in Mexico, Argentina, and South Africa. Perform supplier performance development activities such as Quality Day Peças and Supplier Collaboration Room. Technically validate all actions implemented by suppliers via CLAIM (often during validation it is necessary to perform laboratory tests and vehicle conformity).

Requirements and qualifications

Higher education in Engineering, Quality, Production, or related areas. Fluent English. Consolidated experience in the Quality area, with direct action alongside international suppliers. Mastery of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.). Strong knowledge of automotive quality management and control systems. Ability to work with autonomy, lead processes, and influence internal and external partners. Experience with Volkswagen or automotive sector standards and processes is highly desirable.
