Product Analyst - Suspension

Responsibilities and assignmentsAProduct Analyst in the Chassis area to work on the development and monitoring of truck and bus suspension systems, covering primary suspension and secondary suspension (cab suspension). The professional will work together with the engineers responsible for the system, supporting development, validation, technical documentation, supplier monitoring, and component analysis activities, contributing to the robustness, comfort, and performance of the vehicles. Main activities:
- Support the development and monitoring of suspension system components, including springs, shock absorbers, tie rods, structural supports, and cab suspension components.
- Support the technical interface with suppliers for project discussions and monitoring of development activities.
- Collaborate with CAD and CAE teams during component development.
- Monitor static and dynamic tests for component validation.
- Evaluate CAE reports and validation results.
- Support failure analysis and technical investigations.
- Participate in technical forums related to product development.
- Conduct technical alignments with national and international suppliers.
- Analyze drawings, requirements, technical standards, and test plans.
- Monitor schedules, pending items, action plans, and project milestones.
- Update indicators and prepare reports on activity evolution.
- Prepare technical documentation for component release and changes.
- Support cost reduction, performance improvement, and robustness increase initiatives for suspension systems.
- Organize and maintain technical history of documents, reports, versions, and validation evidence.
Requirements and qualificationsEducation:Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic, Production Engineering, or related areas.Other specializations:
- Have knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, and stamping), vehicle dynamics, and experience with automotive component design, especially focused on suspension systems;
- Advanced knowledge of the Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI etc.);
- Clear and objective communication
- Knowledge of VWCO corporate systems (Avon, KVS, KPM, TI Rex, etc) – Will be a differentiator
- Driver's license category D or E – Will be a differentiator
Language:Advanced/Fluent English.
