Powertrain Product Analyst

And in 2023, we started South American operations, with our first headquarters in Brazil.Responsibilities and assignmentsResponsible for developing, integrating, validating, and releasing Powertrain systems and components for commercial vehicles, covering engines, fuel and ARLA systems, transmissions, and emission after-treatment systems (ATS). Acts from requirement definition to the homologation and release of components, ensuring performance, quality, durability, regulatory compliance, cost, deadline, and sustainability. Develop and integrate Powertrain systems using engineering and Agile methodologies.Define technical requirements, validation plans, and product development strategies.Coordinate engine, transmission, fuel, ARLA, and emission systems projects.Conduct layout analyses, drawings, DMU, structural calculations, and simulations (CAE/FEM).Manage development with suppliers, component nationalization, and sourcing processes.Plan and monitor tests, prototypes, certifications, and homologations.Prepare and maintain technical documentation (FMEA, PDM, AMP, Add/Delete, drawings, and release lists).Act in problem analysis and solution using methodologies such as KPM, DMU, and ECL.Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, purchasing, logistics, finance, and technical assistance areas.Promote innovation, cost reduction, emissions, mass, complexity, and sustainability initiatives.Responsible for engine systems, fuel and ARLA systems, transmission systems, ATS (After Treatment System), after-treatment and emissions, layout, design, structural simulations and CAE/FEM, supplier development, sourcing and nationalization, testing, validation, homologation and component release, technical documentation, and engineering problem solving.Requirements and qualificationsEducation:Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or related fields.Other specializations: Desirable in Mechanical, Automotive, Production, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Project Management, or Business Management Engineering.
