Responsibilities and assignments

Act directly in the field in technical support and the resolution of problems related to the electronic systems of electric commercial vehicles, performing failure analyses, advanced diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the products. Responsible for executing technical investigations using automotive diagnostic tools, UDS protocols, and vehicle communication analysis, as well as implementing, validating, and releasing small modifications and calibrations of embedded software necessary to correct deviations identified in customers, validation tests, or after-sales operations. Work in an integrated manner with the Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Assistance, and supplier areas to identify root causes, propose technical solutions, and ensure the rapid recovery of vehicles in operation, contributing to the continuous improvement of products and customer satisfaction. Act in field technical support for electric commercial vehicles, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and failure analysis in embedded electronic systems. Identify, reproduce, and investigate problems reported by customers, Technical Assistance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering, using diagnostic tools, UDS protocols, CAN network analysis, and vehicle data capture. Perform Root Cause Analysis and define corrective actions for the restoration of the functionality of electronic systems and embedded software. Develop, implement, and validate small modifications, corrections, and software calibrations necessary to meet field demands, performance improvements, and failure resolution. Support the registration, prioritization, and monitoring of problems and improvements in the Azure DevOps platform or equivalent system, ensuring the traceability of actions and corrections. Execute functional and regression tests on benches, simulators, and vehicles to validate corrections and ensure the robustness of the implemented solutions. Perform software updates and parameterizations of electronic modules in test vehicles, prototypes, and vehicles in operation, ensuring the correct functioning of features. Participate in technical meetings with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to discuss problems identified in the field, propose solutions, and monitor action plans. Prepare technical reports containing test evidence, failure analyses, diagnostic results, and recommendations for continuous product improvement. Provide technical support to the Quality, Technical Assistance, and Manufacturing areas during field investigations, update campaigns, and complex problem resolution. Monitor validation activities at customers, suppliers, and field operations, collecting information that contributes to the evolution of electronic systems and embedded software. Keep all technical documentation, test records, diagnostic procedures, and validation evidence updated, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ASPICE requirements, and internal company processes.

Requirements and qualifications

Education:

• Computer Science, bachelor's in Electrical/electronics, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Software, or other engineering or related technical areas.

Other specializations:

• Data Science, Data Analytics, and Big Data;
• Scrum and Design Thinking;
• Machine Learning and other AI algorithms.
• Knowledge in electronic architectures of commercial vehicles.
• Programming Languages and Artificial Intelligence.

Language:

• Intermediate English
