Product Analyst - Chassis

Responsibilities and assignments Product Analyst in the Chassis area to work on the development and monitoring of vehicle structural systems, including side members, crossmembers, structural supports, and materials applied to truck and bus chassis. · Development of chassis components and systems for commercial vehicles. · Development and monitoring of chassis structures, side members, crossmembers, reinforcements, and Add-On Parts. · Working on projects involving structural supports, mudguard supports, Front Underrun Protection (FUP), fifth wheel (5ª roda), cast components, forged components, and aluminum structures. · Direct contact with suppliers for technical discussion, project alignment, and component development. · Guidance and monitoring of CAD and CAE activities during product development. · Analysis of drawings, requirements, technical standards, and engineering documentation. · Support and monitoring of component validation tests. · Failure analysis and proposal of technical improvements. · Preparation of technical documentation for component release. · Participation in technical forums to present projects, solutions, and new technologies. · Preparation of proposals aiming at cost reduction, performance improvement, and product optimization.
Requirements and qualifications Education: Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic, Production Engineering, or related areas.
Other specializations: · Desirable to have knowledge in science and strength of materials, fatigue, vibrations, bolted, welded, and riveted joints, finite element analysis, operation of vehicle systems, manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining, and stamping), and vehicle component design; · Knowledge in Catia V5, DMU Navigator, or similar 3D software;
Language: Advanced/Fluent English.
Additional information This is a CLT opportunity, with on-site work in Resende/RJ.
