Development Analyst (Product and Projects)

Responsibilities and duties Develop and integrate hardware for automotive electronic modules according to international standards (ISO, IEEE, etc.), VW and Traton requirements. Main activities and responsibilities:

• Project and product management in the context of automotive electronic engineering, acting in an agile environment and at the interface with cross-functional teams;
• Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components, including the preparation and management of bills of materials (BOM);
• Evaluate and indicate integrated circuits and new generation electronic components, aiming to avoid obsolescence, phase-out, and supply continuity risks;
• Identify and indicate potential suppliers for electronic modules, monitoring sourcing, development, manufacturing, and validation processes;
• Ensure the implementation, integration, and validation of electronic modules in vehicles, ensuring compliance with the technical, functional, and non-functional requirements of the product;
• Perform releases and monitor development stages according to PEP (Product Engineering Process) for each approved project;
• Manage priorities, schedules, deliveries, quality, and technical documentation, ensuring alignment between scope, requirements, and product objectives;
• Act in the management and prioritization of the Product Backlog, transforming technical and business needs into clear objectives, requirements, and user stories for the development teams;
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, participating in and monitoring ceremonies, sprint planning, refinements, dailies, reviews, and retrospectives;
• Coordinate internal and external teams, promoting integration between Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, suppliers, and other stakeholders;
• Support technical and architecture decisions, ensuring operational readiness and the integration of developed solutions;
• Monitor indicators, goals, and deliveries, using KPIs to monitor performance, quality, product evolution, and identification of improvement opportunities;
• Validate new concepts and potential use cases, considering their technical, functional, and economic feasibility, seeking to maximize the value generated by the product;
• Support Manufacturing EOL (End of Line) activities and Service activities related to MCO;
• Analyze failures, risks, and improvement opportunities, prioritizing potential field actions and contributing to continuous product evolution;
• Promote continuous improvement of processes, products, and ways of working, using Agile and DevOps principles;
• Document decisions, results, and lessons learned, incorporating learnings into new developments;
• Act in the removal of impediments and in alignment between teams, contributing to the continuous delivery of value, quality, and results to the customer.

Requirements and qualifications Education: Computer Science, Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Software, or other related engineering.
