And in 2023, we started South American operations, with our first headquarters in Brazil.Responsibilities and assignmentsDevelop, calibrate, integrate, validate, and release automatic and automated transmissions in commercial vehicles, ensuring functionality, safety, performance, fuel consumption, drivability, durability, diagnostics, and correct electronic integration with other vehicle systems. Act from the integration of the TCU with other electronic modules of the vehicle, CAN data analysis, CanMatrix validation, application of the SAE J1939 protocol, network simulations, vehicle tests, technical documentation, fault diagnostics, and support for the release of transmission functions and calibrations.Develop calibrations, parameterizations, and functions for automatic and automated transmissions with a focus on functionality, safety, performance, drivability, consumption, and robustness.Integrate the TCU with other electronic modules of the vehicle and other control units, ensuring correct communication and operation.Acquire, process, and analyze vehicle data via CAN to evaluate shift strategies, performance, drivability, consumption, diagnostics, and dynamic behavior.Calibrate transmission functions and integrations to the vehicle using CANalyzer, ControlDesk, and related tools.Validate CanMatrix, DBC, signals, and messages between suppliers and VWCO, ensuring compliance with SAE J1939 and other communication requirements.Simulate integrations in CAN/CAN-FD networks and diagnose electronic architecture inconsistencies, function implementation, or messages between modules.Plan, execute, and monitor development, application, certification, and functional validation tests, issuing reports and release evidence.Evaluate the influence of the transmission and its calibration on performance, consumption, drivability, comfort, and general vehicle behavior.Diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis, proposing calibration, parameterization, integration, or communication solutions.Study new electronic architectures, new modules, functions, and transmission technologies demanded by programs and customers.Perform benchmarking of competing vehicles to guide shift strategies, functionalities, performance, consumption, and drivability.Support suppliers and internal areas in problem-solving, function maturity, validation, and release of transmission software/calibration.Requirements and qualificationsEducation:Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, Production Engineering, or related fields.Other specializations:Desirable in Automotive Engineering, Powertrain, Transmissions, Electronics, Mechatronics, Project Management, or Business.Transmission calibration, automatic/automated transmissions, CAN/CAN-FD, SAE J1939, ControlDesk, CANalyzer/CANape, INCA, MDA, UNIPLOT, electronic architecture, diagnostics, and HIL.Language:Advanced EnglishAdditional informationThis is a CLT opportunity, with on-site work in Resende/RJBenefits:• Sulamerica Health Plan• Sulamerica Dental Plan• Meal Voucher• Food Voucher• Daycare Allowance• Well-being Program• Private Pension• Life Insurance• PLR</body>
