Project Management Officer M/F
We are looking for a Project Management Officer M/F in a permanent contract (CDI) within Volkswagen Financial Services. Under the direction of the Secrétariat Général, which occupies a central position serving both the Front office and the back office. The Direction accompanies VWFS in its transformation through the implementation of strategy, project steering, process excellence, data governance, and ESG. The direction's approach is based on three fundamental principles: transversality; flexibility; and value creation.
At the heart of this dynamic, the Project Management team ensures the coordination, steering, and monitoring of VWFS France's strategic projects. As a transverse interface, we work daily with all departments and support sponsors, contributors, and governance bodies in their decision-making. Thanks to our positioning and agility, we intervene, as needed, as a project manager, PMO, Business Analyst, or stream leader, on a project, a program, or a portfolio. A versatile, flexible, and committed team serving the company's transformation.
Your missions:
In this position, you act as a true Swiss Army knife of project management, capable of handling several subjects simultaneously while adapting your role to the specific challenges of each initiative. You work at the heart of a collaborative environment, in close connection with the AMOA, Process Excellence, Data Office, and ESG teams, to mobilize the expertise necessary for the success of the projects.
As a project manager, you take charge of defining business needs and define the vision, objectives, and scope of the projects entrusted to you. You build a robust schedule, identify the necessary resources, and secure the budget, before steering the execution. You monitor progress, guarantee the quality of deliverables, anticipate risks, and support decision-making. You lead the project team, manage all internal and external stakeholders, and ensure regular communication through committees and progress meetings. You also support change management, notably through communication, training, and user preparation, and then ensure a smooth transition to RUN as well as feedback collection.
When you intervene as a PMO, you structure and lead the governance bodies of a program or a portfolio, while ensuring its monitoring. You consolidate schedules, risks, dependencies, and action plans, and provide management and sponsors with clear, concise, and operational reporting. You play an essential role in transverse coordination between different streams and identify potential impacts. You contribute to harmonizing practices by ensuring the application of the VWFS project methodology, and provide support in budget monitoring, forecasting construction, and decision-making.
In your role as a Business Analyst, you analyze business needs and study the various possible options. You conduct impact studies or gap analyses regarding processes, organization, or information systems. You develop scenarios, formulate recommendations, and ensure consistency between the expressed needs and the proposed solutions.
Finally, you participate in the transverse missions of the Secrétariat Général, notably by supporting the resolution of actions resulting from audits, contributing to the update and maintenance of internal procedures, and producing ad-hoc analyses intended for management. You collaborate daily with the AMOA, Data, Process Excellence, and ESG teams to support the governance and transformation requirements of the company.
Profile:
The position is intended for a candidate holding a Bac +4/5 degree in disciplines such as business, marketing, finance, law, or engineering. You have proven experience in project management, PMO, or a similar function, ideally acquired within the banking, insurance, or automotive sectors. At least 5 years of experience is expected, as well as professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
You distinguish yourself by your ability to steer complex and transverse projects, whether or not they include an IT dimension. Your versatility allows you to intervene simultaneously on several scopes while maintaining a high level of requirement. Your leadership promotes the mobilization of your interlocutors and contributes to the collective success of projects.
Curious and proactive, you demonstrate a strong capacity for adaptation and know how to quickly identify the right stakeholders in order to bring forth pragmatic, relevant, and operational solutions. Flexible and comfortable in demanding environments, you enjoy teamwork and value collaboration as an essential lever for performance.
