Project Manager (m|f|d) Service (Project Assistant)

Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in plant engineering and to specialize in the repair and modernization of hydroelectric power plants. Furthermore, it includes the provision of comprehensive EPC services (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), allowing you to work in a dynamic and future-oriented field.

Your Tasks

• You will take responsibility for the execution of international projects in the field of electromechanical equipment, with a special focus on service projects (Repair & Refurbishment and Upgrades).
• As a Project Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure contract-compliant execution as well as compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and HSE goals through technical leadership and management of the interdisciplinary project team.
• You will accompany service projects from the quotation phase to project completion, including technical clarifications, calculation, risk and opportunity assessment, as well as customer coordination.
• In your interface function (customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal specialist departments), you are responsible for active change, claim, and risk management.

You are responsible for managing technical clarifications, coordinating suppliers, and accompanying customer and supplier acceptances. You will handle project deviations, the preparation and negotiation of supplements, as well as the management and documentation of project changes. * Additionally, you are responsible for project and customer documentation as well as regular project reporting.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed your studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field of study and possess international professional experience in the execution of projects in plant engineering.
• Knowledge in the application of SAP, MS Office, and other project management tools distinguishes you.
• Experience in the execution of service, modernization, or repair projects in plant engineering is an advantage.
• Business fluent English skills are required. German language skills are an advantage and further language skills are a plus (especially French). Your structured and goal-oriented way of working enables you to handle complex and dynamic situations correctly.
• As a committed personality with excellent communication skills and strong negotiation skills, you are able to find effective solutions even with differing objectives.
• The willingness to undertake regular worldwide business trips (approx. 25%) completes your profile.
