In this role, you will assume end-to-end overall responsibility for group-wide software and license management across all manufacturers, contract, and license models:
- Overall responsibility for group-wide license management across all software manufacturers, in particular:
SAP (On-Premise, RISE, SaaS, Subscriptions) Microsoft (e.g., M365, Azure, Server, Cloud-Subscriptions) Oracle (On-Premise, Cloud, Audit and Compliance topics) as well as all other software products subject to licensing ("Long-Tail-Software")
- Leadership and further development of the license management team (functional and organizational)
- Strategic control and further development of SaaS and subscription management
- Responsibility for license and contract models, including assessment, optimization, and harmonization group-wide
- Creation, maintenance, and control of license balances as well as ensuring license compliance
- Preparation, execution, and support of license audits (especially SAP, Microsoft, Oracle)
- Central contact person for license management within the Group as well as interface to Purchasing, Finance, Legal, and Business Units
- Strategic partner management with software manufacturers including negotiation support
- Responsibility for budgeting, cost control, and group-wide allocation models
- Establishment of uniform governance, process, and reporting standards in license management
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in software and license management in large, complex organizations
- Deep expertise in SAP, Microsoft, and Oracle license models as well as SaaS/Cloud licenses
- Demonstrable leadership and management experience in central IT or governance functions
- Sound experience with license audits and compliance topics
- Very good understanding of commercial, contractual, and regulatory contexts
- Confident appearance towards management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Very good communication skills as well as English proficiency in speaking and writing
What we offer:
Remuneration and benefits: The minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position is € 4,611.00 gross (14 times per year). Actual payment depends on the respective qualification and professional experience.
