What awaits you:

• As a System Specialist Operations Run (m/f/d), you are responsible for the independent and autonomous execution of 2nd Level Support for applications, services, and infrastructure.
• You independently define and monitor Service Level Agreements and Service-KPIs for the responsible services, monitor their compliance, and react proactively to imminent violations of target values and quality restrictions, involving the necessary other 2nd Level teams and specialist departments.
• You are responsible for the independent identification, coordination, and implementation of proactive optimization measures to avoid incidents with negative impacts on the customer, in cooperation with the Engineering areas.
• You take over escalation management up to the group management level.
• You accompany and support roll-outs of new systems, services, and software.
• You support the implementation of projects in the LifeCycle for the respectively responsible applications.
• You create and present decision templates and obtain decisions up to the group management level.
• You independently create technical instructions for the 1st Level Support.

What distinguishes you:

• Technical training with 5 years of professional experience or a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering/Informatics with at least 2 years of professional experience in IT application operations/Telco network operations.
• Good process and IT know-how in telecommunications.
• Good knowledge in the areas of: Operating systems (e.g., AIX /HP-UX/ Sun Solaris/ Linux/ Windows), Middleware/Web-technologies (e.g., IBM WebSphere MQ/ WebLogic / Tomcat), Databases (e.g., Oracle).
• Knowledge in the operation of applications in the Cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI etc.).
• Good knowledge in the area of UNIX script programming, Perl, PL/SQL, Python etc.
• Strong analytical, solution-oriented thinking and action.
• ITIL knowledge as well as methodological knowledge of Kepner-Tregoe.
• Basic network and protocol knowledge as well as experience in Loadbalancing.
• Business fluent English (Grade B1) in speaking and writing.
• German language skills desirable.

This position can be performed full-time or near full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
