What awaits you:
- As a Specialist Transport Network Planning (m/f/d), you will independently and responsibly plan and design large-scale network expansion measures in the transport network (Glasfaser, DWDM, MESN, IP and/or O&M) as a basis for all access networks (Mobile, Cable, BSA) as well as for customers (Fixed & Mobile, Consumer, Enterprise & Carrier).
- You will independently and responsibly plan and design transport solutions for customer projects.
- You will independently and responsibly plan and design measures in the transport network with regard to end-to-end performance (latency, bandwidth, etc.), cost reduction (CAPEX, OPEX), and quality improvements in close coordination with other planning groups.
- You will create and implement network expansion strategies and planning concepts.
- You will independently and responsibly plan and coordinate measures within transformation projects in the transport network.
What distinguishes you:
- Completed technical or scientific studies or a comparable qualification with corresponding relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in network planning and/or project management in the telecommunications industry.
- Good knowledge of the transport network and the technologies used, as well as sound detailed knowledge of several technologies used in the transport network.
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure (fixed and mobile networks).
- Analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills as well as the ability to profitably apply theoretical knowledge in concrete application cases.
- Very good written and spoken English skills (B2 according to GER).
- For occasional participation in external appointments, please bring a valid Class B driver's license.
This position can be held full-time or near full-time part-time (at least 30 hours).
