As an Expert Fiber Rollout Manager, you will be part of our project management team and take on project leadership in the implementation of network infrastructure projects in the FTTH environment. You will ensure that our fixed network infrastructure is expanded reliably, efficiently, and in a future-proof manner. In doing so, you will work closely with internal specialist departments and external partners to implement projects on time, efficiently, and with high quality.
What to expect:
- As an Expert Fiber Rollout Manager (m/f/d), you will lead broadband expansion projects in the FTTH and FTTB environments.
- You will plan, control, and monitor fiber optic infrastructure projects to expand and optimize the Vodafone network.
- You will continuously coordinate with internal specialist departments as well as external planning and construction service providers.
- You will ensure compliance with schedule, quality, and budget targets across all relevant project phases.
- You will maintain and use tools and systems for transparent tracking of project progress.
- You will further develop processes within the production line and drive their harmonization and optimization.
What distinguishes you:
- Successfully completed (technical) university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Technology, or a comparable technical training.
- At least four years of professional experience in the field of telecommunications technology, ideally focusing on fixed network or fiber expansion.
- Sound project and process experience, especially in process analysis and optimization, e.g., with Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong organizational and communicative skills as well as experience in stakeholder management.
- Very good understanding of process flows in the mobile and fixed network environments.
- Confident handling of reporting, analysis, and project management tools.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Very good English skills (B2 according to GER).
This position can be held full-time or near full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
