What to expect:

• As an Expert Cloud Data Engineer (m/w/d), you will steer the VOIS development team for various cloud platforms and be responsible for the design and implementation of modules for an analytical or ML application in the cloud (Google Cloud, AWS, Private Cloud).
• You will take over the management of operations tasks in the cloud, such as monitoring, incident, and problem management, within a DevSecOps team and develop executable images (Docker containers).
• You will automate Machine Learning models and ML pipelines using a serverless architecture and support users in using cloud services.
• You are responsible for the development of executable images (Docker containers) and automate Machine Learning models as well as ML pipelines using a serverless architecture.
• You support users in using cloud services and develop solutions for the analysis and visualization of data.

What distinguishes you:

• Successfully completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least four years of practical experience in Big Data or cloud development.
• Certification as a Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or a comparable certification in the AWS environment.
• Good knowledge of a cloud platform (GCP or AWS).
• Good experience with serverless infrastructures as well as the construction and operation of Docker containers (e.g., Kubernetes, Podman, Minikube).
• Good communication skills and negotiation skills when dealing with partners.
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing (B2 according to GER).

This position can be held full-time or near full-time part-time (at least 30 hours).
