Mechanical Fitter

As a Mechanical Fitter, you are the technical specialist within the production environment. You will be involved in both preventive maintenance and the independent troubleshooting of mechanical malfunctions in machines and installations.

In addition, your activities consist of:

• Locating, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions;
• Performing maintenance activities on production installations;
• Implementing technical improvements to increase machine reliability;
• Performing Break Down Analyses;
• Updating maintenance plans and registrations in SAP PM;
• Supervising external fitters and suppliers;
• Supporting TPM and improvement projects;
• Transferring technical knowledge to colleagues and operators.

For this position, we are looking for an independent and solution-oriented technician with experience within an industrial environment. Additionally, we require:

• A completed MBO-4 education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar;
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding techniques;
• Experience within a production or industrial environment;
• Basic knowledge of the English language;
• Knowledge of SAP PM, TPM methodologies, and ATEX is a plus;
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
