Dental Technician Chrome

We are working with an established dental laboratory in Birmingham that is looking to recruit an experienced Dental Technician with a strong background in Chrome / Cobalt Chrome work .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive laboratory with a good reputation for producing high-quality dental restorations.

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience within the Chrome / Cobalt Chrome department and be confident working independently while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Cobalt chrome framework production
• Designing and finishing chrome frameworks
• Partial denture frameworks
• Model preparation and surveying
• Finishing, fitting and quality control
• Working closely with the wider prosthetics team
• Ensuring cases are completed accurately and within agreed turnaround times

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous dental laboratory experience within Chrome / Cobalt Chrome
• Produces accurate, high-quality work
• Has a good understanding of removable prosthetics
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Can manage their workload effectively
• Works well as part of a laboratory team

Experience with digital chrome workflows, CAD design or 3D printing would also be advantageous, although this is not essential.
