Electronics Engineer - Obsolescence Management M/F

In this context, we are looking for an electronics engineer, specialized in the management of electronic component obsolescence. They will participate in managing the challenges related to the sustainability of essential electronic components for our client's projects.

Integrated within the Engineering Department, your role will consist of guaranteeing the continuity of operations and minimizing the risks associated with the obsolescence of electronic components.

You will work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (electronics, mechanics, quality, project).

Responsibilities:

• Identify electronic components at risk of obsolescence within systems;
• Evaluate available alternatives on the market and recommend replacement solutions;
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate new components into our systems;
• Implement obsolescence management strategies to ensure the long-term durability of our products;
• Work in close collaboration with suppliers and partners to guarantee the continuous supply of critical components;
• Ensure technological monitoring of series products.

Profile sought:

A graduate of higher education in electronics, you have at least 5 years of experience in electronic obsolescence management, preferably in an industrial field.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of electronic components and their life cycle;
• Mastery of PLM / ERP type databases;
• Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) required.

Knowledge of PLM tools such as PTC Windchill, Ax, and Silicon Expert or IHS Part Intelligence is an appreciated plus.
