Junior mechanical design engineer

Are you the candidate we are looking for? For a company in the Deinze region, we are looking for a Junior Mechanical design engineer!

• You are involved in the entire process — from concept to production. In doing so, you work on design and engineering, prototyping, testing and validation, production preparation, documentation, quality control (QA/QC), etc. Throughout this process, you safeguard the quality, the margin, and the set deadlines.
• You are the driving force behind your designs and demonstrate that you can work efficiently within deadlines, while communicating smoothly with both suppliers and internal and external customers in an international context.
• You excel in developing innovative concepts and providing creative ideas that improve the performance and efficiency of both new and existing products.
• You actively participate in brainstorming sessions and idea generation, and know how to effectively model and visualize concepts.
• You have obtained a master's degree in electromechanics or mechanical design.
• Initial experience as a mechanical design engineer in a machine building environment is a plus, but certainly not a must. Recent graduates are also welcome.
• You have a broad interest in various engineering domains such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electricity, FEA, …
• You work independently, dynamically, and take responsibility.
• You are proactive, take initiative, and bring projects to a successful conclusion.
• You are passionate about technology and want to contribute to innovative, high-tech solutions that shape the future.
• You speak and write English fluently.
