Transport Controller

Are you passionate about cars, do you enjoy working outdoors, and do you speak English well?

For a large and international player in Zeebrugge, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague.

You will join a close-knit team of 3 colleagues and a manager. We are looking for someone who is available for the next 2 months, but there is a great chance you can stay longer!

Your field of play:

You ensure that all trucks entering and leaving the site comply with the rules:

• Checking trucks: Using a simple app on a tablet or phone, you check whether the trucks are properly and safely loaded. You look at, among other things, the truck's superstructure and the safety bars.
• Directing drivers: You are the point of contact on the site. You address drivers in a friendly but firm manner and explain to them what needs to be done if something is not in order.
• Maintaining safety: You help traffic on the site run smoothly so that everyone can work safely.
• Making reports: Do you see a problem or damage? Then you report this immediately to your supervisor and the customer.

Your profile:

• Passion for cars: You have a great interest in the automotive sector.
• Team player & eager to learn: You enjoy working together with your 3 colleagues and are open to learning something new every day.
• Languages: Good knowledge of English is a requirement. Do you also speak Dutch or an Eastern European language? That is a nice plus.
• Outdoor person: You find it no problem to work outside in all weather conditions (rain, wind, or sun).
• Accurate: The customer sets high quality requirements. You work precisely and do not overlook details.
• Computer skills: You can work well with a tablet/app and have basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Availability: You are available immediately for the next 2 months and are open to a longer collaboration.
• You work in a varied schedule (2-shifts: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm)
