Assistant Warehouse Worker

Your tasks

As an Experienced Warehouse Worker, you are responsible for both the operational and organizational warehouse management:

• Goods Receipt & Machine Packaging: You handle incoming deliveries and ensure correct, safe packaging of large machines and spareparts to prevent transport damage.
• Order Picking & Inventory: You perform accurate order picking for internal workorders, manage warehouse locations efficiently, and are responsible for daily inventory management.
• Projects & Right Hand: You act as the fixed point of contact for the head warehouse worker during the execution of more complex logistical projects.
• Replacement Head Warehouse Worker: In their absence, you take over the leadership:
• You manage the email inbox, email communication, and telephone contacts with sister branches (in both Dutch and English).
• You handle the complete administrative processing of incoming/outgoing goods in the ERP system.
• You are responsible for the operational task distribution and guidance within the warehouse team.

For a financially healthy, leading machine manufacturing company in the region, we are looking for a driven Experienced Warehouse Worker & Assistant Head Warehouse Worker. As an Experienced Warehouse Worker, you are responsible for both the operational and organizational warehouse management:

• Experience & Coordination: You can demonstrate experience as a warehouse worker and have already gained experience in a steering or coordinating role.
• IT & Administration: You possess excellent administrative skills, work extremely accurately, and can work fluently with ERP software (warehouse management) and MS Office.
• Language Skills: You are communicatively strong and possess sound knowledge of English (both oral and written).
• Certificates: You preferably possess a forklift and/or gantry crane certificate.
• Attitude: You are proactive, independent, flexible, have a hands-on mentality, and like to take initiative.
