Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the housing facility. Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, functional, and properly maintained. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, rooms, common areas, utilities, equipment, and other facility assets. Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance activities. Identify maintenance issues and ensure that repairs are completed promptly. Manage and coordinate external contractors, technicians, cleaners, security personnel, and other service providers. Monitor facility utilities, including electricity, water, waste management, plumbing, and other essential services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, facility assets, inspections, and service providers. Develop and monitor facility maintenance schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and relevant facility regulations. Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and facility-related complaints. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, tools, and other facility materials. Monitor the condition and proper use of facility equipment and assets. Ensure that residents, staff, visitors, and other occupants follow facility rules and procedures. Liaise with management, residents, vendors, and service providers to resolve facility-related concerns. Recommend improvements that can enhance the safety, comfort, efficiency, and overall quality of the facility. Prepare regular reports on facility operations, maintenance, expenses, and outstanding issues. Perform other duties related to facility management as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facility management, property management, estate management, housing facilities, or a related field. HND/Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is an advantage. Practical knowledge of residential/housing facility operations and maintenance. Strong knowledge of building maintenance, utilities, repairs, and facility safety procedures. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel effectively. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic facility management or record-keeping systems. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and urgent facility needs.
