Building Maintenance Specialist

The main responsibility of the Building Maintenance Specialist is to ensure the uninterrupted, safe, and long-term operation of buildings, structures, and all systems within them. The specialist is responsible both for preventive maintenance and for the prompt resolution of any malfunctions that may arise.

Repair damaged walls, ceilings, and floors, including plastering, painting, and cement-sand works;

Inspect and adjust locks, hinges, glass, and insulation layers, and replace them when necessary;

Regularly inspect, repair, or replace pipelines, faucets, pumps, and plumbing equipment;

Be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical work;

Be available for possible overtime calls or on-call duty in emergency situations, as needed;

Perform other tasks within the scope of the unit’s functions, when necessary;

Carry out building repair and maintenance works;

Carry out furniture repair works;

Perform work related to the repair and maintenance of bathrooms and sewage systems;

Move and install property or furniture;

Perform other cleaning-related tasks, including cleaning the areas surrounding the buildings during the winter.

Secondary education;

Conduct in accordance with ethical standards;

Communication skills;

Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
