Early Help Support Worker (EHASH), Rochdale Council

Pay rate £21.34 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Team in Rochdale Council.

The Early Help Worker will have responsibility for completing the triage/screening and information gathering processes within the set timescales. An integral part of this role is contacting parents/carers and significant others; children and young people and professionals, completing home visits as required using effective communication and engagement skills.

The purpose of this is to gather key information alongside providing advice and information on a wide range of identified needs; early help support available and identifying safeguarding matters ensuring timely referrals take place to Children’s Social Care or Early Help services.

The Early Help Worker needs a sound knowledge and understanding of services available to support vulnerable children, young people and families, experience of working with families with complex needs and ability to complete assessments i.e. Early Help assessment and risk assessments.
