Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounts:

Handle full spectrum of finance and accounts activities such as Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP), General ledger (GL) entries

Perform monthly bank reconciliation

Process of inter-companies billing and facilitate reconciliation of inter-companies’ balances

Prepare monthly Balance Sheet & P&L & Cash Flow Statement schedule and reconciliation

Handle quarterly GST return

Support semi-annual fixed asset sighting and allocation of tag number from time to time

Lead in corporate tax matters.

Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents and relevant government authorities

Handle all bank related matters and annual audit exercise

Lead in month-end closing process.

Calculating exchange gain & loss

Liaise with HQ Finance on accounting matters

Prepare monthly financial reports to HQ

Costing:

Manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting & management reporting process

Standard cost & product margin setup and analysis

Perform analysis on the financial performance & variances; provide insightful commentaries

Partnering with stakeholders to drive profitability and cost saving

Manage Precious Metal (PM) transactions including Refining and PM Gain/Loss

Overall responsibility for CAPEX projects

COO cost statement application, renewal & update

Costing closing

Requirements:

Graduate in Accountancy/ Finance with minimum 8 years of relevant experience

Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (written & oral - to communicate with Mandarin speaking stakeholders in China (HQ))

Experience in manufacturing industry

Experience in SAP

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and costing

Hands-on, detailed oriented and able to work under pressure

Mature, positive and able to work independently with minimum supervision
