Sponsorship Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
Manage sponsorship processes and systems, supervision of sponsorship processes, and cause-partner operations, within the framework of sponsorship standards and compliance with the Safeguarding Policy, in order to strengthen performance and foster meaningful relationships between children, their families, and communities, together with sponsors. Provide technical support to regions, working in an articulated manner with program teams, special projects, and other key areas, acting as a liaison between the operations/impact and sustainability team on sponsorship-related matters.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, guide, and ensure compliance with donor experience standards and child sponsorship standards (global center standards).
- Identify procedures (flows) for the correct execution of sponsorship standards.
- Facilitate information exchange for a better understanding of the regional situation.
- Develop and implement Global and Regional initiatives.
- Ensure 1:1 connections and communications (child-sponsor).
- Provide support in the use of tools and systems to capture information and/or content.
- Coordinate the different activities proposed by the Marketing or Fundraising Management, or requested by the donor or the NGO (support for guided visits, virtual events, information for reports, transformative stories, etc.)
- Guarantee that sponsors (uni and multi-sponsors) see the impact of their contribution in the community.
- Strengthen the critical factors that ensure effective sponsorship management at the National Office level.
- Administer and manage the projection of available RC for monthly/annual report delivery.
- Management of RC status (hold, available, sponsored, cancellations, death, special cases, etc.).
- Coordinate the assignment of RC to new sponsors and RC replacements according to procedures established in standards and policies.
- Coordinate the monitoring and execution of sponsorship operations in programs and their registration within the HORIZON platform, according to established quality and time standards.
- Provide support to the LACRO/Global Center Team for training and support of analysts in HORIZON.
- Administration of the HORIZON platform and assignment of permissions.
- Manage the attention and resolution of tickets corresponding to HORIZON failures.
- Coordinate HORIZON updates and reconciliation of information with SIMMA-HORIZON and SIMMA-HubSpot.
- Reconciliation of information requested from programs for sponsorship and cause products.
- Ensure the linking of work plans through collaborative work management between areas.
- Ensure the management of risks associated with sponsorship standards and minimum donor experience standards.
- Verify compliance with protocols and standards to ensure child protection and safeguarding.
- Check the collection of image use permissions for Safeguarding.
- Signing of appropriation of organizational philosophy protocols.
- Express acceptance contained in the file or employment contract regarding confidentiality.
- Signing of acceptance and appropriation of the Child Protection Policy.
- Express acceptance contained in the file or employment contract regarding personal and organizational security measures.
PROFILE:
Knowledge of the sponsorship approach and its impact. Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, proactivity, and time management. Demonstrated skills in mediation and leadership in multidisciplinary teams. At least 10 years of direct experience in the humanitarian sector in similar positions Internal Applicants: At least 5 years of experience in World Vision or in high-responsibility roles, including at least 4 years in sponsorship projects or working with area or regional programs. Intermediate English level B1 Required education: High school certificate (minimum) Incomplete Bachelor's degree in administration, marketing, communications, or social sciences (preferred) Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Office 365 (indispensable). Knowledge of tools such as HubSpot (desirable), Horizon, SIMMA, Rich Media, or Transfer. Demonstrated competencies to lead, influence, and develop teams. Experience in facilitation and mediation in collaborative contexts. Skills in management platforms, event coordination, and KPI monitoring. Desirable knowledge of institutional policies and regulations applicable to sponsorship.
WE OFFER:
Monthly salary range: $15,000 - $20,000 gross + Benefits Superior to the Law ($2,518 pantry vouchers per month + $700 transport or connectivity support per month + Life Insurance + SGMM + 30 days of aguinaldo, etc.).
