Machine operator

Working with heavy equipment in the Velsen-Noord region?

For a client at an industrial location, Synvio is looking for two to three Machine Operators for processing metal and scrap. You will operate a large metal shearing machine and move materials with the forklift. Experience with the machine is not required. Technical insight and working safely are more important.

What you can expect:

• Remuneration according to the CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer 2026
• A temporary contract with a view to a permanent position
• A full-time position
• A schedule of 4 days working and 4 days off
• Morning or evening shifts between 07:00 and 23:00
• Working with large machines
• A position in which you work independently and practically

What you need:

• A valid forklift license
• VCA, or the willingness to obtain this
• Preferably Dutch; basic English is mandatory
• Technical insight
• A safe and responsible working attitude

Working with a shovel is not mandatory. A few times a year, you can learn to drive a shovel and obtain the correct papers during a training day. Temporary workers are also allowed to participate in this.
