About the Role

Virtual IP is a US-based IT consulting firm looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern based in Ghana to support the creation of engaging video content for social media channels. This role is ideal for a student or early-career creative who wants practical experience working on real business content and building a stronger professional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media and marketing. Create engaging videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Add transitions, subtitles, captions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects. Turn raw footage into clean, professional, and visually engaging videos. Resize and optimize videos for different social media platforms. Assist with creating promotional videos, reels, company videos, and educational content. Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style. Organize video files, raw footage, and completed projects. Make revisions based on feedback from the marketing and management teams. Support other basic creative and multimedia tasks when required.

Requirements

Currently studying or recently completed a program in Media, Film, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, or a related field . Basic to intermediate video editing skills. Familiarity with tools such as: Adobe Premiere Pro CapCut DaVinci Resolve After Effects or similar tools Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. A portfolio or sample of previous video editing work is preferred
