Graduation Internship: Mechanical Engineering Engineer

During this graduation internship, you will have the opportunity to apply and further develop your technical knowledge and skills within the Mechanical Engineering department. You will gain experience in the field within one of our many projects. To perform the assignments, knowledge of automation and construction principles is required. Within VIRO, SolidWorks, NX, SolidEdge, Inventor, etc., are used among others for developing 3D models. The assignments are carried out at our office in Arnhem. It may be necessary to consult external parties to inventory all requirements and wishes. We define the content of the assignments together; choosing your own assignment is also a possibility.

What will you do?

• Conducting literature research
• Process/problem analysis
• Drafting a program of requirements
• Generating concepts
• 3D CAD model
• Performing technical calculations
• Safety analysis (including CE, among others)
• Cost analysis
• Final report

• You are an enthusiastic hbo student in the field of Mechanical Engineering
• You can work both independently and in a team
• You are proactive and like to think along during the development process (study and concept phase)
• You find it a challenge to develop the automation alongside the mechanical part
• You communicate easily with customers and colleagues, also in English
