Job Summary

You will lead frontend engineering efforts to design and build user-centered, accessible, and production-ready web interfaces, collaborating closely with users and backend teams to deliver innovative AI-enabled and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs and business goals into personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, and clear product requirements through direct collaboration with business users
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma or coded tools; facilitate usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
• Develop responsive, maintainable, and production-quality web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with reusable components, state management, client-side validation, error handling, and automated tests
• Design AI interaction interfaces for conversational, generative, and agentic experiences, managing streaming responses, tool execution, system status, citations, user confirmation, human review, error recovery, and uncertainty handling
• Apply and extend reusable design patterns, component libraries, and design tokens to ensure consistent, responsive, inclusive solutions aligned with accessibility standards
• Collaborate with AI and backend engineers to define API contracts and integrate frontend applications with authentication, databases, enterprise systems, and platform services; develop lightweight backend features as needed
• Optimize usability, responsiveness, rendering performance, and reliability; implement unit, integration, end-to-end, and accessibility testing; enforce secure frontend practices for sensitive and regulated data
• Manage frontend delivery through production rollout, documentation, user onboarding, feedback collection, support, and knowledge transfer to improve user adoption and task completion
• Identify recurring user needs and reusable interface patterns from field feedback and contribute improvements to shared components and the core platform

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in consulting delivery, design engineering, solutions engineering, internal product delivery, or roles involving direct user collaboration and end-to-end implementation
• Experience designing or building interfaces for chatbots, copilots, agentic workflows, data-rich applications, or AI-enabled products
• Experience creating or extending component libraries and design systems, including documentation, accessibility considerations, and visual regression testing
• Experience presenting complex operational or analytical information using libraries such as Recharts, D3.js, or Chart.js
• Experience delivering internal enterprise applications subject to stringent security, privacy, accessibility, or government requirements, including IM8 policies
