Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform daily delivery and collection duties according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure all goods are loaded, transported, and delivered safely and in good condition.
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, quantities, and customer details before completing deliveries.
- Obtain proper Proof of Delivery (POD), including signatures, photographs, or system updates where required.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections, including tyres, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, lights, and general vehicle condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements immediately to the Operations/Fleet team.
- Follow all Singapore traffic regulations, company safety procedures, and customer/site requirements.
- Ensure goods are arranged and secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Handle cash, COD payments, documents, and company property responsibly where applicable.
- Communicate promptly with the Operations team regarding delivery delays, failed deliveries, customer issues, or route changes.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required paperwork or electronic updates.
- Attend customer warehouses, distribution centres, retail outlets, construction sites, and other assigned locations when required.
- Follow instructions from the Operations Manager, Fleet Manager, or Management.
- Support ad-hoc deliveries, collections, and other operational duties according to business requirements.
- Maintain professional conduct and provide courteous service when dealing with customers and site personnel.
- Comply with all company policies relating to safety, attendance, vehicle usage, delivery procedures, and workplace conduct.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant driving or delivery experience preferred.
- Able to use GPS, navigation apps, and basic mobile applications for delivery updates.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading when required.
- Able to handle delivery documents, invoices, PODs, and basic records accurately.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to follow assigned schedules and instructions.
- Good safety awareness and responsible driving record.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with Operations staff and customers.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when operationally required.
