Job Title: Science Laborator Contract Period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027 Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:15pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break) Friday: 7:00am – 3:45pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break) No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays Job Description: We are looking for a competent Science Laboratory Assistant to support the administrative and operational functions of the school's Science Department. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories Preparing experimental set-ups for laboratory work Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of science laboratories Performing other duties as assigned by the HOD or School STEM Instructors Requirements: GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent and above (education certification may be offset with relevant work experience) Good interpersonal, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills Ability to multitask, working both independently and as part of a team Ability to carry out routine tasks in a non air-conditioned environment At least 4 years of working experience in a secondary school chemistry lab
