Fullstack / Backend Software Engineer (.NET) (m/f/d)

Viewlicity, the company behind PuttView, is an innovative SportsTech company based in Hamburg, Germany, with a strong focus on Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). PuttView Indoor has already revolutionised Golf Putting Practice – evidenced by that fact that today, the best players and coaches rely on our technology, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Rose and Phil Kenyon among them. With PuttView X, we have launched the first AR sports application for Microsoft HoloLens. We are looking for a motivated Fullstack / Backend Software Engineer (.NET) (m/f/d) to join our software development team in Hamburg full-time. Tasks
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using C# and .NET Develop and maintain ASP.NET Web API and ASP.NET Core Web API services Design clean, reliable, and well-structured REST APIs for our applications Work with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server to model and manage application data Deploy and maintain backend services and help keep them running reliably in production Investigate and resolve backend, API, database, and production issues Work closely with the rest of the development team to turn product requirements into practical technical solutions
Profile
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience Strong experience with C# and .NET development Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API and/or ASP.NET Core Web API Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts Practical experience with Entity Framework and/or Entity Framework Core Good understanding of REST API design, backend architecture, and server-side application development Understanding of authentication and authorisation concepts, ideally including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect Proficiency in English (German is a plus but not required) Optional qualifications**: Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software deployment Experience with Unity or other client-side technologies Experience working with sports technology, AR/MR, or real-time applications A knowledge of and interest in golf
