DevOps Specialist / Data Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for 1 DevOps Specialist / Data Engineer (m/w/d) full-time, Vienna 1010, to start immediately in full-time employment.

Your Tasks

• Close cooperation with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Owners to implement group-wide solutions
• Design, construction, and operation of data pipelines on Databricks with Python and Lakeflow (Pipelines, Jobs/Workflows)
• Use of Azure Data Factory and Azure services for ingestion, orchestration, and integration
• Construction and operation of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and environment management
• Standardization and further development of release, deployment, and operation processes
• Ensuring monitoring, logging, security, permissions, as well as cost and performance optimization

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data/Cloud Engineering, or comparable practical experience
• Sound experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform, or Data Engineering with a focus on productive data solutions
• Very good knowledge of Databricks (Python, Spark, Lakehouse) as well as in the construction and operation of data pipelines
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, as well as Azure services including Data Factory and BI tools (Power BI, Fabric)
• DataOps mindset with a focus on testing, versioning, observability, and stable operation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, independent and solution-oriented way of working, sound English skills; German is an advantage

Due to legal requirements, we inform you about the monthly collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 3,668.49 gross based on full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, we offer market-compliant pay. It is important to us that your salary is oriented towards your qualifications and experience, which is why we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
