We are looking for 1 Data Governance Specialist (all genders) for immediate full-time employment. Your tasks:

• Definition and implementation of group-wide standards for data catalogs, metadata, and governance policies
• Supporting teams in populating the data catalog; ensuring consistency and interoperability
• Development of a Data Quality Management Framework: rules, KPIs, reporting, support with critical data issues
• Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls; promoting a data-driven culture and data responsibility
• Collaboration with business departments and Data Leaders; promoting cross-departmental exchange and knowledge transfer
• Support with rollout, training, and communication measures for governance initiatives

Your Profile

• Degree in economics, computer science, information management, or comparable practical experience
• Sound experience in Data Governance or related areas
• Expertise in data cataloging, data quality, policy development, or Business Data Engagement
• Knowledge of Data Management principles (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK); experience in large, decentralized organizations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Advantageous: DAMA/CDMP, experience with tools such as ERWIN or Ataccama, knowledge of regulations
• Business fluent English, German skills are an advantage

Due to legal requirements, we inform you about the monthly minimum collective agreement salary of EUR 3,556.03 gross based on full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, we offer market-conforming pay.
