We are looking for 1 Data Engineer (all genders) - Configuration Focus for immediate full-time employment. Your tasks:
- Adaptation and maintenance of our established database solutions (including SAP-BW and SQL) in cooperation with our internal IT
- Further development and refinement of our reporting solutions to meet changing business requirements
- Management and validation of data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Development and implementation of new methods and tools to optimize existing and future financial processes
- Creation of detailed dashboards, reports, data views, and analyses for various reporting purposes
- Future-proofing our toolbox (including R, Python, and VBA) by proactively searching for improvements and anticipating needs
- Collaboration with other departments within VIG (Group) to optimize processes and ensure effective data usage
Your Profile
- A university degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a similar field
- Initial experience with different data models as well as in data migration
- Proficiency in analytical software such as Excel, R, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with database solutions (SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) is an advantage but not an exclusion criterion
- Initial experience with programming (VBA, Powershell, Python, etc.) is an advantage, as you will be expected to regularly deal with smaller programming tasks
- An analytical mindset paired with a problem-solving orientation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders
- Sound English skills in speaking and writing, German skills are an advantage

Due to legal requirements, we inform you about the monthly collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 3,353.17 gross based on full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, we offer market-conform pay. It is important to us that your salary is oriented towards your qualifications and experience, which is why we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
