We are looking for 1 Data & Analytics - Data Engineering Lead (m/w/d) full-time, Vienna 1010, to start immediately in a full-time position.

Your Tasks

• Leadership and further development of a Data Engineering team; coordination of projects with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Owners
• Construction and operation of scalable Databricks pipelines with Python, Declarative Pipelines, and Jobs/Workflows
• Use of Azure Data Factory for Ingestion/Orchestration and integration of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Introduction of standards, reusable templates, and documentation for group-wide solutions
• Quality assurance through versioning, testing, monitoring, SLAs/SLOs, and automated deployments
• Cost and performance management of productive pipelines

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering/Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Profound Data Engineering experience corresponding to the role, ideally with leadership experience
• Very good knowledge of Databricks (Python, Spark SQL, Lakehouse), Declarative Pipelines, Jobs/Workflows
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, data integration/orchestration, data modeling, and performance tuning
• DataOps mindset: versioning, tests, automated deployments, clean release processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills, independent, solution-oriented; profound English skills, German advantageous

Due to legal requirements, we inform you about the monthly collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 3,910.79 gross based on full-time employment (37.5 hours / week).
