Branch Operations Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, driving loan disbursement and recovery, mobilising deposits, managing staff performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving the branch's financial and operational targets. The successful candidate must have strong leadership, credit management, risk assessment, and customer relationship skills, with proven experience in microfinance operations.

Key Responsibilities Branch Operations Oversee the daily activities of the branch to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Ensure compliance with the institution's policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly branch performance reports. Loan Management and Recovery Supervise loan processing, appraisal, approval recommendations, and disbursement in line with company policy. Monitor loan repayments and ensure timely recovery of outstanding loans. Track the Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and implement strategies to reduce loan defaults. Ensure proper documentation and verification of clients before loan disbursement. Business Development Drive customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation, and loan portfolio growth. Develop strategies to meet branch targets for loan disbursement, savings, and income generation. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
