Demanding software tests for safety-critical systems

Our client is an internationally active technology company that develops innovative software solutions for highly regulated and safety-critical application areas. To strengthen the development team, we are looking for a dedicated Software Tester / Software Test Engineer (m/f/d) who will actively help shape the quality of demanding software products.

Your Tasks

• Planning, development, execution, and documentation of software tests within the framework of product development
• Creation of test specifications based on defined requirements
• Conception and implementation of test automation
• Analysis, evaluation, and tracking of software errors as well as creation of bug reports in the ticketing system
• Review of development and test documentation as well as support during code reviews
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in English
• Ensuring test quality while considering relevant international norms and quality standards

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Informatik, Softwaretechnik, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in the field of software development with C/C++, Python
• Knowledge in handling LINUX and the GNU Toolchain
• Experience with structured test methods and quality assurance processes
• Good English skills (at least level B1)
• Independent, analytical, and quality-oriented way of working

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of the coding guidelines MISRA-C:2012
• Experience with the version control system Git
• Good Linux user knowledge
• Certification as an ISTQB® Certified Tester
