Responsibility for test strategy and software quality in demanding development projects

Our client is an internationally active technology company with high quality standards in the development of complex software solutions for safety-critical applications. For the technical leadership and management of testing activities, we are looking for an experienced Test Lead Software Quality & Verification (m/f/d) who designs test processes, coordinates teams, and sustainably ensures the quality of modern software products.

Your tasks

• Planning, conception, coordination, and monitoring of all testing activities within product development
• Definition and continuous optimization of test strategies, test methods, and test processes
• Selection, introduction, and adaptation of suitable test tools
• Technical management of the creation of test specifications as well as test automation and test execution
• Development and implementation of meaningful metrics for evaluating and controlling testing activities and software quality
• Support and accompaniment of testing activities at the component and system levels
• Active execution of software tests to ensure high product quality
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation in English

Your profile:

• Successfully completed Master's degree in Informatik, automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in software testing, ideally as a Software Test Designer or in a coordinating test function
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ as well as Python
• Sound know-how in software testing methods, test processes, and quality assurance
• Experience in the field of static code analysis
• Confident handling of Linux as well as the GNU Toolchain (GCC, LD, GNU Make)
• Understanding of signal processing and hardware-near software development
• Good English skills (at least level B1)
