Mechanic / Technical Workshop Assistant
VICOS is looking for a mechanic or technical workshop assistant for a long-term temporary position with an international company in Danmark.
You will be part of a mechanical workshop, where you will service, test and prepare advanced equipment used for oil and gas wells.
The most important qualifications are a mechanical background and relevant practical workshop experience. You will receive training in the company’s specialized equipment and work procedures, so experience with offshore or well-intervention equipment is not required.

Job responsibilities
Service and maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment
Functional testing and pressure testing of existing tools and new equipment
Preparing equipment according to technical and operational requirements
Correct registration and completion of work orders
Receiving and inspecting returned equipment
Checking documentation, serial numbers and any damage
Packing and preparing toolboxes according to company standards
Receiving, registering and dispatching equipment to work locations in Denmark and internationally
Your profile
You have a mechanical background and relevant practical workshop experience
You may be a mechanic, industrial mechanic, machinist/fitter, or have a similar practical background
You work carefully, systematically and with a strong focus on quality
You can follow technical instructions and document your work correctly
You are familiar with using common hand tools and measuring equipment
Experience with hydraulics, assembly, pressure testing or industrial service work is an advantage, but not a requirement
Experience with well-intervention equipment is not required
We offer
A temporary position for approximately 12 months, with the possibility of extension
Basic salary of DKK 292.00 per hour
37.5 paid hours per week
Working hours Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:00
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day
Possibility of overtime depending on workload
Thorough training in the company’s equipment and work procedures
Work in an international and technically specialized environment
Salary
Day shift - your net salary every 4 weeks for full-time work, after deduction of accommodation costs: DKK 31.958 (EUR 4,273)*. See the attached calculation for 1 week of work on the day shift

Accommodation: VICOS arranges accommodation close to the workplace. A private room with internet, kitchen and bathroom costs DKK 137/day (EUR 18.33) - the cost is already included in the net salary calculation above. Please note that the accommodation cost has already been deducted in the calculation above.
If you already live in Denmark close to the workplace, you can stay at your own accommodation and you will not be charged for accommodation.
