Fullstack Django / React Developer Internship (Unpaid Intern Role)

Job Description:

Vibes Meet LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack React and Django Developer to join our team. This role is fully remote and requires a commitment of 4 hours per day. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and maintaining web applications using React and Django, with additional DevOps experience in AWS being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack React and Django Developer, you will:

Frontend Development

• Develop dynamic, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using React.
• Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast loading times and seamless user experiences.

• Integrate RESTful APIs into the frontend and handle state management using tools like Redux or Context API.

Backend Development

• Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Django.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.

• Manage database schemas and ensure efficient data handling using PostgreSQL or other databases.

DevOps and Deployment

• Manage and deploy applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFront (preferred).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot server-related issues.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining best practices in coding and architecture.

• Collaborate with the QA team to test and debug applications thoroughly before release.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in web development.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and security of the application.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• Frontend Skills:
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, ChakraUI.

• Experience with frontend tools and libraries like Redux, Tailwind CSS, or Material-UI.
• Backend Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Django and Python.
• Experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integration.

• Proficiency in database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent).
• DevOps (Preferred):

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• General Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details

• Location: Fully remote.
• Hours: 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

• Compensation: Conversion into a fully paid role after internship
• Duration: Full-time, Part-time, long-term position.
