Psychiatrist

We are looking for a psychiatrist with advanced English to join our team of health professionals. We are looking for excellent clinical judgment and differential diagnosis capability. Ability to approach patients with complex psychiatric conditions and multiple comorbidities. Skill to establish a therapeutic alliance based on trust, respect, and active listening. Excellent clinical interview and mental state examination capability. Sensitivity and appropriate management of patients with histories of trauma, military experiences, disability, chronic pain, or emotionally complex situations. Ability to identify warning signs and act promptly in the face of suicidal risk, psychiatric crisis, or clinical deterioration. Clear, professional, and empathetic communication with patients and families when appropriate. Excellent clinical writing, with the ability to accurately document symptoms, findings, diagnoses, evolution, response to treatment, and therapeutic plan. Ability to clinically support the relationship between symptoms, diagnosis, functionality, and indicated treatment. Ability to work interdisciplinarily with general medicine, psychology, neuropsychology, physiotherapy, and other specialties. Skill to explain the diagnosis, pharmacological treatment, possible adverse effects, and recommendations understandably to the patient. Appropriate management of confidentiality and highly sensitive clinical information. Organization, responsibility, punctuality, and compliance with clinical and administrative protocols. Appropriate management of electronic health record software, digital platforms, and telemedicine tools when required. Ability to adapt to the clinical and administrative protocols of Vets 4 Vets.
