doctor - General Practitioner

We are looking for a Medical Director to join our team at VETS 4 VETS IPS

In this position, you will be responsible for supervising and directing clinical operations, ensuring excellence in medical care and the promotion of health for our patients. You will also perform clinical medical consultations and clinical history evaluations. Your leadership and expertise in medicine will be fundamental to improving the quality of life for Veterans.

We seek excellent clinical judgment and analytical capacity to make safe and timely medical decisions, the ability to provide comprehensive, humane, respectful, and patient-centered care, the skill to conduct in-depth clinical interviews and obtain relevant information even in patients with complex medical backgrounds, excellent verbal and written communication, both with patients and other health professionals. Ability to explain diagnoses, treatments, recommendations, and warning signs in clear language for the patient. Attention to detail and a high level of rigor in the recording of clinical histories and other medical documentation. Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and properly coordinate referrals and management plans. Sensitivity to serve the veteran population, including patients who may present physical, emotional, or psychological conditions associated with their service history. Organization, responsibility, and compliance with clinical and administrative protocols. Ability to adequately manage consultation time without compromising the quality of care. Proper handling of digital tools, clinical history software, and documentation platforms. Professional ethics, confidentiality, empathy, and service orientation. Ability to learn and adapt to the specific clinical and administrative protocols of Vets 4 Vets.
